RFID vs Barcode
 What is the difference? Both barcode and RFID are identification technologies. That is, they hold data you can access by using a reader. The two technologies differ in that barcode uses optical while RFID uses radio technology. The differences in data exchange between the two can help to decide where each technology can be most effective. RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) is best described as a wireless memory chip.
