SATO shows its food traceability solutions at CFIA 2008 exhibition.
Lille, 11 January 2008 – SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions, presents its food traceability solutions at CFIA 2008 (Food Industry Supplier Trade Show).
SATO is a worldwide company providing customers high-performance global solutions.
LT was design to make print & apply solution easy to use. It is the combination between SATO OEM print engine and a simple apply system. Two differents applicators are available ( tamp-blow applicator or air-blow applicator) to apply labels by right hand or left hand. Tamp-blow applicator is adapted to shipping labels or boxes traceability . Air-blow applicator is dedicated to food industry and catering.
The new GL4e development had the end user in mind for medium-duty industrial applications. As an RFID-ready printer, it is field-upgradeable offering flexibility and scalability to meet end users’ RFID printing requirements anytime. Only the GL4e series offers a field-upgradeable UHF RFID option; an industry-leading printer management utility SATOnet CONNECT™; standard tri-port communication protocols of RS232C serial, IEEE1284 high-speed parallel and USB 2.0 plus LAN and 802.11g Wireless LAN as options; an “automatic detection system” to conveniently switch between 203 dpi (GL408e) and 305 dpi (GL412e) print resolution; and much more. . It makes use of the very latest in near-field antenna technology to encode precisely to the position on the label that guarantees optimum read performance.
New model in the compact series, the SATO CX410 can be used everywhere, especially where mobility and flexibility are important, where rather small labelling volumes have to be mastered, or to print labels on demand. A scanner can be connected directly to the CX410, via a serial interface, so that scans and print jobs can be directly accomplished, without the need for a PC. Beside offices, authorities and libraries, the CX410 is also ideally suitable for other barcoding applications, for example for retail, transportation or for courier services. In addition the extremely compact design of the CX410 and its small weight make this printer usable at almost any place, in the distribution center or at the Point Of Sale. The high resolution of 300dpi the CX410 allows sharp and clear print jobs, whether the format consists of traditional linear bar codes or simple text, highly detailed diagrams or 2D-codes.
Market’s fastest mobile barcode printer, the MB series is perfect for 2-colors printing, on-demand. The optional shoulder belt or belt clip allows comfort and ease of carrying while on the move. Choice of interfacing methods, such as Infrared, Bluetooth or WLAN, let the user enjoy all the advantages of wireless connectivity.
Moreover, SATO shows hand labellers, label production know-how and several ranges of scanners and hand held terminals.
SATO is a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry, and the inventor of the world’s first electronic thermal transfer barcode printer. It revolutionised the barcoding industry by introducing the Data Collection System (DCS) & Labelling concept – a total barcode and labelling solution providing high quality barcode printers, scanners/hand held terminals, label design software and consumables. SATO is one of the first in the industry to introduce a complete, multi-protocol EPC compliant, UHF RFID solution.
In the continuous pursuit of bringing the benefits of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) to all sectors, SATO printers have been successfully installed in hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies worldwide, helping users to increase their efficiency and decrease expenditures.
SATO is publicly listed on the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange in Japan. It has worldwide offices in the United States, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China.
