Brussels, October 06, 2009 – SATO, a leading provider of data collection and label printing solutions, announces the launch of a new thermal printer, which prints 2-inch labels, receipts, wristbands and tags. Its ease-to-use, ultra-compact design , as well as its suitability for on-demand, low-volume label or wristband printing applications make the CG2 series one of the best feature to value desktop printers in its class.

The CG2 printer is RFID-ready 1 and provides an affordable HF RFID printing solution for short-read range applications.

Its clamshelldesign and simple print mechanism makes the loading of media quick and easy. . With its simplicity of design this enables easy operation and maintenance; print heads and platen rollers can be replaced without the need for any tools.
