T-Pak & SATO Partnership Gives UK Egg Packers Fast and Reliable Service

Leading supplier to the poultry industry in Scotland and the North of England, T-Pak has announced a partnership with the global specialist in barcode, labelling, and AIDC technology, SATO UK, which will not only see the two companies providing a comprehensive range of highly efficient labelling products to suit every egg-packing business’ requirements, but will also see distribution capability for T-Pak increased to the whole of the United Kingdom.

Scottish company T-Pak is a family business with over 30 years’ experience in the poultry industry and is run by father and son, Robert and Andrew Thompson, who provide their customers with everything used on a poultry farm from their 8,000 square foot warehouse in Forfar. The agreement between the two companies will offer T-Pak’s customers a variety of SATO labelling solutions to choose from including items such as hand-held labellers and product and barcode labels.

SATO has label production based in the United Kingdom and can manufacture bespoke labels displaying all required information for packaging, even including a company’s logo. SATO also manufactures economic, versatile and reliable hand-held labellers and applicators suitable for item, batch and date marking, as well as barcode thermal label printers.

We can provide labels required for the modern packing centre with a fast and reliable service, enabling our customers to increase efficiency.”

SATO’s European Managing Director, Brian Lang said:  “Although a unique customer for SATO, our partnership with T-Pak demonstrates our strength in being able to provide an intelligent, customised and fully-integrated labelling and data collection solution for any type of business that has such a requirement. We look forward to working in partnership with T-Pak, something which we believe will be a mutually beneficial initiative to both of our companies in the United Kingdom”.
