Global supplier of auto-ID and traceability solutions that empower workforces and streamline operations, SATO, will be showcasing its latest innovations at the 2019 Restaurant & Takeaway Expo in London, UK.

The annual event held at the ExCel Exhibition Centre is one of the largest of its kind in the UK and brings together leading brands in the takeaway and restaurant sectors. The expo provides a platform for businesses to present and demonstrate technologies that have been developed in response to emerging market trends such as growing e-commerce platforms, sustainability and safety.

Emma Male, QSR New Business Development Manager at SATO UK, said: “We’re excited to be attending the Restaurant & Takeaway Expo 2019. At the show, we will be demonstrating some of our leading technologies and actively encourage attendees to visit our stand and experience our next-generation solutions. We always strive to enable our customers to unlock real bottom-line value and efficiency gains in their supply chains, and our engaging demonstrations at this expo will highlight how SATO solutions achieve this.”

SATO will present the company’s pioneering solutions for product labelling and tracking, as well as exhibiting its integrated software portfolio at stand C262. On display will be the award-winning FX3-LX printer with Application Enabled Printing (AEP) which enables businesses in the restaurant and takeaway sectors to meet stringent food labelling legislation and increase food preparation efficiency.

The innovative solution significantly enhances consumer safety via accurate allergen labelling and its ability to display video demonstrations, ensuring correct procedures are followed. The FX3-LX is fully waterproof, and the touch screen will work even if the user is wearing protective gloves. Businesses can also remotely update the printer database to protect brand consistency across all sites.

“At SATO, we design all of our solutions around the drive to add value and efficiency at each touchpoint of the customers’ supply chain. The is the perfect opportunity to showcase what our applications are capable of and how our unique range of print and labelling innovations are tailored to meet the needs of businesses in the fast paced restaurant and takeaway environment,” added Male.

The exhibition will take place on 19-20 November 2019 and is expected to attract over 100 of the biggest names in the restaurant and takeaway industries, along with more than 15,000 influential visitors.
