SATO Europe Unveils the Sustainable European Consumables Program with 100% Recycled Labels

23/11/23SATO Europe Unveils the Sustainable European Consumables Program with 100% Recycled Labels

SATO Europe GmbH, a regional pioneer in labelling solutions, is proud to announce the launch of its Sustainable European Consumables Program (ECP). This initiative features labels made entirely from 100 percent recycled paper, marking a major stride towards environmental sustainability in the labelling industry.

The new ECP is not just a product offering; it's a commitment to a greener future. Engineered to reduce carbon emissions by an impressive 15-20 percent, the program also minimises water and energy consumption during the production process. This is part of SATO Europe's broader strategy to lead the industry in sustainable practices, not just in labelling but in overall operational efficiency.

By becoming a part of this program, businesses across Europe become active partners in SATO Europe's mission to shrink their carbon footprint within the label industry. This partnership is not just beneficial for the environment but also for the businesses themselves, as it adds a layer of corporate responsibility that consumers increasingly demand.

Laurent Lassus, SATO's Head of Europe, stated, "We are taking a momentous step by transitioning to 100 percent recycled paper. This initiative aligns perfectly with our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are not just adapting to a market trend; we are setting the standard for what should be the industry's future. Businesses across Europe can make a statement with every label, leading the way towards a more sustainable future for all."

SATO Europe prides itself on flexibility, allowing customers to place orders for as little as a single box. This ensures that businesses get precisely what they need without excess inventory, further reducing waste. It's an approach that makes it easier for smaller businesses to participate in sustainable practices, democratizing access to eco-friendly solutions.

The new program builds upon the previous European Consumables Program, which offered volume-based discounts and served multiple industries.
