SATO France SAS Maintains Its EcoVadis Silver Medal and Continues Its Journey Toward Gold
26/08/25
Templemars, France – July 7, 2025 – For the second consecutive year, SATO France SAS is proud to announce that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal for its performance in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). With an overall score of 73/100, a clear improvement compared to last year (69/100), the company now ranks in the top 15% of companies evaluated in its sector.
This performance demonstrates the continuous efforts made by SATO France’s teams across the four fundamental pillars of the EcoVadis assessment: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Examples include the development of a comprehensive set of structural policies: CSR, environmental, business ethics, sustainable procurement, and more.
A first carbon footprint assessment marked the launch of annual monitoring of our actions as part of a continuous improvement process.
This year also saw the launch of a partnership with SOPREMA for the recovery/recycling of release liners from our customers.
“At SATO, continuous improvement is a culture, not an option. This renewed and improved silver medal is a fine recognition of our efforts. But our ambition remains unchanged: we are aiming for the gold medal,” said Benoit Gourlay, Managing Director of SATO France SAS.
Birénam Agnala, Deputy Director in charge of CSR plan deployment, added: “This recognition reflects the collective commitment of SATO France. Thanks to our concrete initiatives, we are creating a sustainable dynamic that benefits all our stakeholders.”
SATO France also continues to pursue additional certifications to further strengthen its responsible approach.
