Introduction of high-quality labelling automation to the world's largest print-and-apply market

SATO Europe a pioneer in auto-ID and labelling solutions, today launched its LR4NX Series print and apply labelling machines in Europe.

SATO will sell the machines through partners in a total of 35 countries covering UK, Benelux, France, Spain, Italy, Poland and the CEE countries. The print and apply engine will be sold on a made-to-order basis and are made for high volume labelling operations such as food production, manufacturing and e-commerce.

The SATO Group has business in more than 90 countries and regions directly and through business partners. Globally, SATO develops products to meet the unique needs of each region, and to date, in Europe we have focused on label printing equipment called print engines.

There are approximately 40,0001 automatic label applicators in use worldwide, and Europe is one of the world's largest markets for print and apply, accounting for about half of the global total. In Europe, there is a growing need for equipment that integrates label printing and automatic label application, which is why are rolling out the LR4NX Series in Europe as one facet of our growth strategy.
